What we collect, why, and how to delete it.

Updated 28 October 2026 · applies to undercard.cc and the UNDERCARD iPhone app

What we collect

Your account

Your email address and name, from the sign-in option you choose.

Your profile (all optional)

Your photo, height, weight, reach, date of birth, country and city, name, nickname and stance.

Your bouts

When you analyse a bout in the app, we receive, for each round:

From these we make your statistics and bout summaries. We also keep a sign-in token for your phone and, if you allow notifications, a token to tell you when results are ready.

People, clubs and invites

Who you follow and who follows you, the club you join, the people you tag on your bouts (or the name you type for a sparring partner), invite links you send and who joined through them, the free minutes you earn, people you block, and reports you send us.

Requests to take a bout down

If you ask us to take down a bout that shows you, we keep your request: your email address (or your account), your name and note if you add them, and what we decided. We use them only to handle the request.

Your area (optional)

When "Near you" is available in the app and you open it, the app asks for your phone's approximate location. If you allow it, only a rough area of about 20–40 km leaves your phone, to find bouts near you. If you don't, we use the city in your profile.

Each new bout is marked with the city in your profile, never an exact place.

On the website

What other people see

Bouts are public: once a bout is analysed, other people on UNDERCARD (and anyone with its web link) can see it. They see your name and nickname, flag, country, city, club and profile photo; the bout's title, date and opponent; its statistics and story; a still picture from it, the round videos and the bout's reel. They don't see your email address, your body measurements or date of birth. A sparring partner tagged on your bout can also make their own reel of it, which only they and you can watch.

People you tag on a bout see it on their profile, and can remove themselves. Anyone shown in a bout who didn't agree to it can ask us to take it down; we hide it while we review the request. You can block anyone: you then don't see each other's bouts, and neither of you can follow or tag the other.

Why we use it

We don't use your data to show you ads. How we may use the bouts you upload is also set out in our Terms.

Who processes it

We use service providers for hosting, computing and email, and for sign-in and notifications. This includes AI services from other companies, which receive still frames from your rounds and the statistics we make from them to help analyse your bouts and write your bout summaries. They handle your data only to do that work for us. Some are outside your country, including in the United States.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep your account and profile until you delete your account.

Delete account in the app (Profile) deletes your account, email address, name, profile and photo, your sign-ins, who you follow and are followed by, your club, tags and blocks straight away, and disconnects your bouts from you; they stop being shown to anyone. As our Terms explain, the bouts you uploaded and their statistics may be kept without your name or contact details. Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days.

To ask for anything else to be deleted, corrected or sent to you, email us.
